Your child's class teacher will keep you informed of important dates, events, and other relevant information via various communication tools, such as communication books, See Saw, Connect, or Compass, depending on the level of communication required.
Student progress reports are completed by teachers at the end of each semester and assess your child's progress in achieving their Individual Education Plans (IEPs). IEPs are written collaboratively with you and other important stakeholders, such as therapists, and outline academic, social, and emotional goals. Formal reports are issued at the end of each semester and parents can arrange to meet with teachers to discuss their child's progress towards these goals.
Parent/teacher meetings are an excellent opportunity to discuss your child's progress, and we encourage parents to make appointments as needed. You can also contact teachers via email, and all teachers will provide their email addresses at the beginning of the school year.
It is crucial that we have up-to-date contact information for all parents in case of an emergency involving your child. Please contact the school to request a Change of Details Form and ensure that we are aware of any changes to your contact details.
