We held our annual Dianella’s Got Talent last term, where all our students performed all sorts of different acts.
We had wonderful singers, exciting dances, aspiring musicians, and even an Elvis impersonator during the performances! Our students prepared and worked hard toward rehearsing for their performances and had a minute to shine on stage. Our students and staff were incredibly impressed by and proud of the talents of the performers and their dedication to their craft.
Thank you to our lovely students for their hard work in preparing for Dianella’s Got Talent and to the staff who have coordinated the event.

Our students were true champions at the Kalability AFL Carnival last week, exhibiting true teamwork, resilience, and athleticism.
Dianella SCESC was represented by three teams comprising of 45 students. With the skill and knowledge that they gained from their previous footy classes, our Division One emerged as the champions that day!
We are immensely proud of all our students who competed. A huge thank you to our staff who attended and supported them as well.

actioninOur students have been had the best time at the Elevate Program, funded by Telethon7 Perth and delivered by the Swan District Football club. They learned how to play wheelchair football, which has been incredibly exciting, as they have learnt how to move around in the wheelchairs and experience a few matches against the peers in the games. We had a very special session where the team at Crimson Sky have filmed a select group of students for the program. The short film will be broadcasted on 7News, Telethon Social, and Telethon Broadcast around mid-October. We express our appreciation the groups and staff who have made this possible

On 12 July, Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre had a very exciting group of visitors around.
The Fremantle Dockers dropped by the school to spend some time with our students. Our sport enthusiasts were extremely excited to meet the 7 players, Minairo ‘Michael’ Frederick, Patrick Voss, Liam Reidy, Brendon Walker, Heath Chapman, Conrad William, and Jack Delean.
During a short assembly, they were able to ask the players a couple of questions. the players shared their favourite foods, morning routines, and disclosed to us their favourite games they have played up to date! A group of students who put their names forward were also able to play a few footy games with them. The day ended with an autograph session, filled with signed posters and caps.
We would like to express our appreciation to the Fremantle Dockers for coming to spend time that afternoon. Our students could not contain their excitement and have been reminiscing their time with the players. Our appreciation also extends towards the staff who have made this visit possible ![]()
